Basset Hound Club of America

Beagle Club of America, National
In 1884 the the first Beagle Specialty Club, the American-English Beagle Club was founded. This Specialty Club was established by Philadelphia area breeders, a Standard was adopted and the breed rapidly changed from the ""bench-legged"" beagles (crooked forelegs) who were undoubtedly the result of crosses of the early imported beagles from England with Dachshunds.

The Sussex Spaniel Club of America is dedicated to encouraging and promoting quality in the breeding of pure-bred Sussex Spaniels and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

Tibetan Mastiff Club of America
The first Tibetan Mastiff Club of America (TMCA) was founded in 1974, and is one of the oldest clubs for the Tibetan Mastiff in America.

Tibetan Terrier Club of America
The Tibetan Terrier Club of America, Inc. was created to encourage and promote the quality breeding of pure-bred Tibetan Terriers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.

Vizsla Club of America
The Vizsla Club of America, organized originally in the early 1950's as the Magyar Vizsla club, received its present name in order to facilitate breed recognition by the AKC. The organization has published a national newsletter since 1953 called The Vizsla News. Presently, the VCA sponsors a week long national event which rotates around the country each year.

Weimaraner Club of America
Weimaraner Club of America set guideline to protect and advance the interests of the Weimaraner by maintaining high breeding standards and by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, field trials, obedience trials, and tracking tests.

Welsh Springer Spaniel Club of America
The Welsh Springer Spaniel Club of America was founded in 1961 with 21 members; of those, 15 were from New Jersey and New York area, 4 were from the Pennsylvania area and 2 were from California. As of 01 Jan 1999 the WSSCA membership has swelled to over 300 with members from the US, Canada, UK, Sweden, Finland, and Holland. Five founding members are still with the club.

Welsh Terrier Club of America
The Welsh Terrier Club of America organized in 1900 to encourage and promote quality in the breeding of pure-bred Welsh Terriers and to do all possible to bring their natural working qualities to perfection; to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage portsmanlike competition.

West Highland White Terrier Club of America
The West Highland White Terrier Club of America (WHWTCA) is the one official American National Club for Westies and dedicated to the advancement of quality care, breeding and enjoyment of Westies.

Whippet Club of America
The American Whippet Club is the national breed club for Whippets within the American Kennel Club. It promotes the showing, responsible breeding, obedience training and competition, lure coursing, and versatility of the whippet breed.

Wire Fox Terriers and Smooth Fox Terriers Club
The Fox Terrier Network is an international club in support group for those that own and love the Wire Fox Terrier and the Smooth Fox Terrier.

Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Club of America
The Griffon (Wirehaired Pointing Griffon) is one of the wirehaired, versatile hunting dog breeds.

Woburn Scottish Terriers
British Heritage. The 3rd Generation Owned by Scottish Terriers. Members of the Scottish Terrier Club or America (since 1985); Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago (past President, VP/Show Chairman, AKC and STCA Representatives); Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Louisville, Great Lakes All Terrier Association, and Scottish Terrier Breeder & Exhibitors Association (UK). Breeders and Owner-Handlers of AKC-Registered Championship Scottish Terriers.

Yorkshire Terrier Club of America
The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America is a non-profit organization comprised of over 500 members from all sections of the country and several foreign countries. While many are breeders and exhibitors, others are owners of Yorkies as companions. All members are united by this very special little dog.
